Chay & Harris Painting was founded in 1974 by Tom Chay and Ron Harris, who built the company around a single principle: commercial clients deserve a contractor who specializes in nothing else.

Over fifty-two years, that focus never wavered. The company grew from local commercial accounts into a trusted partner for some of the Bay Area's most recognizable institutions — including Stanford University and Adobe's headquarters — while staying true to its commercial roots.

Today, Chay & Harris Painting completes more than 150 projects a year for over 200 commercial clients, carrying forward the standards Tom Chay and Ron Harris established over five decades ago.
